Module A – Media Makeup and Hair (12 Weeks)

• Basic makeup and hair techniques for film, TV, and stage
• Period Makeup and Hair, with a focus on one iconic look for each period.
• Working with real hair, lace wigs, and mannequins training heads 
• Practicing Theatrical Makeup and Hair
• Learning to do Camouflage makeup including covering tattoos and balancing skin tone
• Learning Business Skills including continuity, the breakdown of scripts, budgeting, and writing CVs

Module B – Special Effects Makeup (2 Weeks)

• Learn a range of specialist SFX techniques 
• Use makeup to create realistic scars, burns and blisters
• Use of flat moulds to create a variety of realistic wounds and injuries such as swollen eyes.

Module C – Hair Knotting (1 Week)

• Learn how to knot a moustache
• Learn how to dress and apply facial hair

Module D – Basic Hair Dressing and Barbering (2 Weeks)

• Build your knowledge of the product, tools, and equipment used in hairdressing and barbering
• Get to grips with the terminology, geometry, methodology involved
• Learn basic cutting skills for ladies
• Learn the basics of barbering using clippers, trimmers, and thinning scissors.
• Learn blow-drying and finishing techniques

Module E – Airbrushing and Editorial Techniques (1 Week)

• Learn a range of airbrushing techniques like colour matching, highlighting, contouring, concealing and correcting
• Learn how to maintain clean air brushing equipment (the compressor and spray brush)

Module F – Fashion Makeup and Hair (8 Weeks)

• Learn basic fashion make-up techniques
• Build your knowledge and application of contemporary stylised period make-up and hair techniques
• Find out about make-up for upcoming seasons 
• Learn session styling for hair
• Experience glamour make-up for photographic, editorial and catwalk
• Build your repertoire of skills in matte, gloss and wet make-up
• Option to build your own fashion portfolio

Module G – Bridal Makeup and Hair (2 Weeks)

• Learn classic and contemporary bridal make-up and hair techniques
• Consultation techniques for the bride, bridesmaids, and party to ensure a successful wedding day
• Learn safety in the application of makeup for the bride and bride’s maids.
• Learn how to promote yourself to get wedding bookings
• Learn business essentials including pricing.
